Countdown to the Big Chop – 20 Jun (44 days left) – Braided Crown Band

Hello Beauties!

On my walk to work yesterday, I noticed two different women wearing crown bands. They were headbands that fit over the bangs and around the crown (as opposed to under the hair like a headband). That gave me the idea for the braided crown band.

I parted some hair along the front on both sides of my head. I twisted half of the hair from the top to the middle, then used the end of the twist as the third leg of the braid. I pulled each braid to the back of my head making sure that all of my hair was laying flat under the braids. Pulling the braids taught against my scalp I wrapped the end of each braid around the opposite braid, then tucked and pinned each end.
