Nail Art Lessons of the Week

DSCN0097Hello beauties!

Since I’m learning so much from my explorations, I thought it would be a good idea to share some of my lessons with you.

From the shades of brown tile gradient manicure, I learned that different color qualities will have an impact on your finished product. For example, three of the four colors I chose for the design were shimmer polishes. The design wasn’t ruined, but I think I would have preferred if all four polishes had the same color quality. In the gradient design I did yesterday, I used three shimmer polishes and the finished manicure has that mesmerizing quality shimmer polishes produce.

Second lesson, I’ve learned the advantages of testing your designs before implementing them. For example, the original four colors I chose for the shades of brown tile gradient manicure ended up not looking great together.  After testing them on a nail wheel, I found the right combination.  The same is true for the gradient design I did yesterday. So testing in advance will save you a lot of grief.

DSCN0115That’s it, beauties. I’ll share these little lessons every couple weeks as I learn new tips and tricks. For now, I hope that’s helpful.

Thanks for reading. Stay beautiful!
